Growing Your Own Food - 6/20 Garden Tally

This year is my first year having a garden because we just bought our house back in April. Putting in the garden was one of the very first things we completed. Nothing is more of a downer than missing the garden season!

This year I do not have many goals with the garden because I am still learning the ropes. Boy those birds are little evil stinkers!!

Here is what I have harvested so far this year:

Swiss Chard - 2 ounces

I have had one heck of a time trying to fight with the birds. Every time the Swiss really started to grow the birds attacked it. 

Spinach - 1.65 ounces

Same thing above as the Swiss... darn birds!
